ooops!!!

I was supposed to go for my high school set reunion with my girl yesterday. All dressed up, we were ready to go when her car started messing up. it took the mechanic 3hours to fix the car, by which time, the stuff would have almost been over. How sad, i had cold feeet through the night,and when i saw the pictures on facebook, all those cute faces i havent seen in close to year, i felt soooooooooooooooooo sad. I hope there's another one sometime soon. pleaseeeeeee girls, lets do it again!!!

getting there, staying there!

Hi, how have you been? Just thought you might like to take a sneak peep at the book i was (or so i thought) writing.
I titled it “getting there, staying there” (philosophical,right?). it ws a result of my daily sights and musing a few years back and though i havent practised much of it myself, i came accross my manuscripts a few weeks ago and i’v decided to take any bull,by its horn. I hope you enjoy reading it, learn from it and act on it.


PREFACE:

To know is to have an idea, to understand is to discern the intricacies of the idea and to be wise is to be able to make good use of that idea, I want to be wise!



INFORMATION, THE MAKING OF A MAN.
The topic of this chapter was culled from a church programme i attended a few years back and i couldn’t agree less.
In the beginning, when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden friut, thier eyes opened and they suddenly felt shame and nakedness. Before eating the friut however, they were ignorant of their state but after the deed, they they became knowledgable of their state. I would at this point say that information can do one of two things; make or marr you.
If Adam and eve had chosen to eat of the tree of the friut of life,which i would gladly have chosen if given the choice(who cares about know what is good or evil when you can know the secret of living forever),then could have had that one inforamtion that would have “made” them and indeed the whole human race.
Enough about Adam and eve, we know information can do either of two things; make or marr, so how do we get information that makes and avoid those that marr?

I'm back!

Phew!!! what a holiday, i had funnnnnnnnnnnnnn. It started on Tuesday, with my branch's end of year party. We contributed money added our late comers' fine, hired a dj, made small chops, ordered food from a restaurant and danced our feet out. We also had awards like most punctual, best dressed, best behaved, blah blah blah, but yours truly did not get any of those...lol After the party,i left like 8.30 p.m, i had to wait for like 2 hours before i got a cab to take me home. Traffic was mad from the island to ikeja, i got home 1 a.m! The next day, Wednesday, being a public holiday, i travelled to "that ancient city" with pretty brown eyes. We went shopping, bought some nice xmas gifts for our parents, went out for lunch... and later in the evening, he took me home to my Father's house (yeah... u tot i wouldn't go right?). Thursday was double fun i took Big treat ice cream for the first time! and yeah, I've been missing. I just hope my dream of fitting into a size 10 wedding dress will not be ruined. OK, i'm back in Lagos and i miss my brother. He says he enjoyed reading my blog, nice. and i want to say thanks to omo oba for the nice comment, you rock!! Gotta go, see ya later

JUST ME

................After a non conformity of nearly five months without a post on my blog, i have decided to take the bull by the horn and "just do it"
So first things first, who am i?
I am a fun loving young woman, a graduate of geology from the first and the best(est) university in Nigeria.(guess u know where that is).
Ok, back to gist, i write songs, sing, do some modelling(mostly voice over), read just about anything, and work(yeah baby, i work in a B**k).
I am the last of four kids to a wonderful couple who've been married for 37yrs!
I'm a make up artist, also a beader.
I am a critic to the core, i like perfection, cause what is worth doing at all, is worth doing well,(though some things are just not worth it, i'll talk 'bout that soon).
Im also an investor, the stock market is my thingy so y'all gonna be seeing some analysis.
Never was, but i'm kinda getting to be a fashion buff, actually i've got this great designs... i think i'm just lazy or scared to put my numerous talents to good use, but soon.........
And i've got this great friend, been dating him since God knows when, Guess what, he recently proposed, yeah, i'm engaged to PRETTY BROWN EYES and we've got these great plans 'bout floating advertising agecy n all... That 's for later
